Robin Hood fights the Demons of Sherwood

Robert Tinnell (Black Forest and The Wicked West) and Bo Hampton have a new comic over at ComicMix called, Demons of Sherwood. It continues the Robin Hood legend 12 years after the events with the Sheriff and Prince John.

The story sounds intriguing, the art looks great, and it is right up my alley right now since I'm obsessed with the second season of the BBC's Robin Hood series.

Werewolf T-Shirt

Game Ink has a new shirt that any player of Werewolves of Miller's Hallow has to love!

If you've never played Werewolves your missing out.

I was just a villager accusing each other of werewolfery this last weekend. There is no other game that can get 12 people laughing, lying, and selling each other out for the sack of good clean fun.

New Whiteout Poster

I can't even form words to describe how excited I am about Greg Rucka's Whiteout finally making it to the big screen.

Kate Beckinsale is going to be great in the lead role, but if you really want to see what Carrie should look like, you have to pick up the TPB and see Steve Lieber's artwork.

Hilarious Countdown of Rob Liefeld's Art

Progressive Boink has a great list of Rob Liefeld's worst art along with a nice rant about how horrible he is.

Since I remember shaking my head at art like this when I collected X-Force back in the day I had to pass it on.

Solomon Kane's Justice is Coming to Theaters!

Prelims must have really kicked me out of the loop. I had no idea that my favorite Robert E. Howard Puritan swashbuckler, Solomon Kane was getting a movie!

James Purefoy (who I loved in the much missed Rome) will be stepping into the Puritan's boots and it looks like this will be the first of a possible trilogy.

I'm glad to hear that Howard is getting some Hollywood play again. I'm actually presenting a paper on his American Tales and questions of empire at a conference in Louisville, KY this February. I'll post the paper up when I actually get it written.

This is going to be awesome!

Rose McGowan as Barbarella

Snarkerati.com is also reporting that Robert Rodriguez has cast the gorgeous Rose McGowan as the lead in his remake of Barbarella.

Snarkerati complains about McGowan's acting, but come on.

Acting skill was never the reason I love Barbarella. It's all about how sexy Jane Fonda looked in space outfits.

Chuck and Oceanic Flight 815

I know I haven't been on for a while. My prelims are coming up, I got married, and I have been busy, busy, busy.

But, tonight on Chuck he told the world that Oceanic Flight 815 was shot down by a surface to air missile!

I had to post! Is this for real? are they giving us clues about Lost on Chuck?

According to Get Reel they are.
