The concept is so B-movie it's funny, but the star power ( Ashley Judd, Michael Shannon, and Harry Connick Jr.) make it otherwise. Is William Friedkin trying to once again make the horror movie "hollywood cool"?

I don't think it will be B-movie quality. Just that Friedkin is taking a concept that is ussually explored in B-movies and bringing it into mainstream Hollywood by choosing the actors.
I am just interested to see how it goes.
